Dave Krusen, Drummer Extraordinaire

It took Dave about 1/2 a session before he was talking about touring with Carolyna. Mr. Krusen put down some very solid drums for Carolyna Loveless' recent recording sessions at Studio Litho (Stone Gossard's Studio - in Seattle, WA. The sessions were recording live off the floor and Dave's performances made Caroyna very happy.

Carolyna Loveless is posing for this photo in Marie Claire Australia where she was profiled in a feature about strong women with male friends. She rounded up her mates and put them in front of the camera with her in Syndey, Australia where she lived and founded EVE, a classic rock 'in-yer-face' outfit that created a good deal of buzz. Carolyna Loveless Is Spotted In Venice Beach

A great time was had at Casa de Shambles in Venice Beach, California. Carolyna Loveless took heaps of footage and interviewed some interesting artists, producers, and creators for 'The Vanhatten Project' podcast... another Swamp Folk podcast series. Ms. Loveless says "It was fabulous to have time to be a fan, a gear-head, and a podcaster.

In addition to filming material for the podcast, Carolyna got down to business with her co-producer/engineer Brian Boland to work on the mixes for the album currently in production. The material being mixed was recorded at the very fine Studio Litho in Seattle (Stone Gossard's studio).

Next move is back to Venice to add some horns and background vocals and finish off the album. The PLAN is to be at Studio Blue (check it out in the gear-head podcast with Eric Selliken) for mid-May to mid-June. Loveless says "I felt at home in this fabulous studio complete with a live stage ... tell me about it!"
